For the past cou­ple of weeks, we’ve had the plea­sure of shar­ing some work­space with our friend Ryuichi Ogino as he pre­pares for an upcom­ing art show in Port­land, OR. Ogi, as most of us call him, is a super tal­ented illus­tra­tor from Tokyo whose show—which opens at the Com­pound Gallery on Sep­tem­ber 2nd—will con­sist of his own work as well as a piece that is an amal­ga­ma­tion of over 30 artists’ works. Pre­sented as a con­tem­po­rary art “Mashup”, the piece is com­prised of works that were selected and arranged by Ogi.
